Isleton

 Iselton is lucky to have two coffee shops!  The Isleton Coffee Company is down town and I have been waiting for them to open for awhile.  (Of course I was gone for a few months...)


I only met one of the owners, Ruby who was very nice.  I will return again soon to meet the other.


I was pleasantly surprised to see that they use Ravens Brew coffee which I first ran across in Alaka before I became a coffee drinker.


This shop has a very nice selection of locally produced pastries that are just the right size.  Most shops serve the " bigger is better" factory foods.  The pastries at the Isleton  Coffee Company will satisfy your sweet tooth, satiate your appetite and leave you room to eat your regularly scheduled meal.

I was informed of a new place for coffee place not too far away in the town of New Era,  The Full Bloom Bakery and Flower Shop.   I drove down to give it a try.  The shop keeper made a delicious peppermint mocha and sold me a top notch scone as well.   They have a variety of baked goods and other delicacies  as well as flowers.  A variety of teas and coffees to choose from to make the drive there worth while.               4.6 ☕️   out of 5      4.9 🥐    out of 5 Located at 3093 M-20, New Era, MI 49446

Going to the Court House isn't always bad

I stopped by the Court House coffee in downtown Danville, IN.  It is one of the nicest coffee houses I have ever been in.  The do serve breakfast and lunch and have a tea room upstairs as well.  The proprietors were quite pleasant and the service was excellent.  I had a vanilla latte and a homemade scone. Gig Harbor

 Greetings and Salutations from Gig Harbor, WA!  I tried a new to me shop this morning, the Kimbal Coffee House.  A small shop that serves up caffeinated beverages.  They were quite busy today with a host of drinks and meals.  The place was busy and hopping and very noisy!   The brown sugar cinnamon latte was a bit to hot and require a splash of cream to make it ready for consumption.  I took it outside to enjoy away from the interior din. They do host live music at various times of the week.  The latte was okay, but making a good beverage was not the number one priority from what I could taste.  I may go back to sample the breakfast out of curiosity.  They are found at  6659 Kimball Dr a102, Gig Harbor, WA 98335 3.9 - ☕️
